
Levis Umbra
Levis Umbra is an Action Stealth Game. Infiltrate an underground facility and avoid the machines at all cost. Find a way to go unnoticed as you penetrate deep into the core, armed only with a hacking device and your wit.
Role: Design Lead, Level Designer & Environment Artist.
Timeframe: May 2020 - Juli 2020.

Level design
Levis Umbra was my first experience of working on a bigger scale and original game with an interdisciplinary team. As one of three level designers on the project, I was responsible for my own part which is the final level in of the game.

The level is set in the underground mining facility, overrun by rouge welder robots. Your mission is to turn in the drill and use it to reach deeper into the facility.

Environment art & Flexibility
As the project went on we noticed that our environment team was to small to meet the deadlines we originally set. I took some time away from my level to help them out, working on a variety of art tasks to help them out.

Post Mortem
Throughout the project there have been very good moments, but also giant learning opportunities that we as a group, but also I as a person have worked through.
